Steppe Metal Powder (SMP) attended Joint Research-Business Seminar and related meetings organized by JICA in the framework of MJEED project in Tokyo, Japan from 21-24 November 2022.

During the seminar, the delegates of SMP met H.E. Mr. Batjargal Dambadarjaa, Ambassador from Mongolia to Japan, requesting an Embassy’s support for company’s activities directedto the Japanese market. As part of joint research effort, SMP has been cooperating with Mrs. Delgermaa and her team at the Mechanical Engineering School of the Mongolian University of Science and Technology on the characterization of SMP’s copper powder and new product development by using spark plasma sintering technology.

SMP delegates also met the representatives of Japanese businesses and professors from the University of Tohoku and University of Nagaoka to discuss the scopes of potential cooperation opportunities. Taking this opportunity, SMP expresses its sincere gratitude to the Association of Mongolian Metal Processing Engineers for its earnest support and companionship during the visit.
